Now jaundice outbreak in Awantipora’s Padgampora

Srinagar: An outbreak of jaundice has been reported in the Dangerpora Padgampora area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district

A health official said that out of 35 samples taken, four children have tested positive for the disease.

He said that people should not panic but consume boiled water and maintain proper hygiene.

“We have sent a team to conduct a survey and gather water samples from the affected area,” he said .

He said that we are closely monitoring the situation and providing necessary medical assistance to those affected.

A similar outbreak was reported from the Bellow area of Pulwama and Pahnoo shopian
