Srinagar:- Athwas group of Humanity has installed a camp in Gandbal area of Srinagar and have been distributing food items and water among the rescuers and other people visiting there from far off places.
Rouf Elahi Chairperson of Athwas group of Humanity said that soon after the incident, his NGO has installed a camp and have been distributing food items whose over is requiring it there.
He said that rescuers and other teams besides common people have come from far off places and it is our duty to keep humanity alive by providing them eatables and other items.
He said that camp will continue to work till rescue operation will continue in the area.
Chairman Rehmatan Lil Aalmeen Foundation Sheikh Firdous has been also part of the camp and has been taking part in rescue operation as well for last three days continuously.
Sheikh Firdous said that this was black day for while Kashmir as we have lost so many lives in the incident especially children.
He said that every eye is in tears in Kashmir and it is time to stand in solidarity with the families who have lost their loved ones.
He further added that government must complete the bridge in the area so that such incidents won’t come to fore in future.
He said that Kashmiris has been always helpful and they will continue to do so in future as well.
“I hope people will come forward and stand by the families who lost their loved ones to help them come out of difficult times,” he said.
He also requested all experts to come forward and help in retrieving the bodies of missing persons
