Pulwama, 19 June: Dr. Harbakash Singh, Chairman of the Standing Committee for Health in Pulwama and DDC member representing Tral block, inaugurated a new Block Drug Store at the Sub District Hospital (SDH) Tral on Wednesday.
The inaugural ceremony, attended by Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dr. Zahoor Ahmad and other dignitaries, marked a significant step towards improving healthcare facilities in the sub district.
Addressing the media, Dr. Harbakash Singh expressed his commitment to enhancing patient care at SDH Tral by utilizing funds allocated through the District Development Council (DDC). He emphasized that the establishment of the Block Drug Store aims to streamline the availability of essential medicines and supplies for patients.
Dr. Singh further encouraged the people to approach him or the BMO with any grievances or suggestions related to healthcare services in SDH Tral. He assured prompt redressal of issues to ensure efficient functioning of the hospital and better healthcare outcomes for the residents of Tral.
Before the inauguration, Dr. Harbakash Singh convened a review meeting with BMO Dr. Zahoor Ahmad at his office. The meeting focused on various aspects of healthcare delivery at SDH Tral, including infrastructure upgrades, staffing requirements, and measures to enhance the quality of medical services provided to patients.
