Residents urge urgent road repairs in Abhama village before winter approaches

Pulwama, 11 Aug (KS): The residents of Abhama village in the Pulwama district of South Kashmir are demanding immediate road repairs from Argichek to Sangerwani.

Locals of the area while talking to news agency Kashmir Scroll, said the deteriorating condition of the road, which has developed numerous potholes, making travel uncomfortable for commuters.

“Despite our repeated appeals to the district administration, no action has been taken to address the issue,” a local said.

The worsening condition of the road poses a growing concern as the winter season approaches, potentially exacerbating travel difficulties and impacting daily life in the village.

Residents are calling for urgent attention from authorities to ensure the road is blacktopped before the onset of harsher weather conditions.—(KS)
