Srinagar, Aug 12 (KS):- In a tragic incident in Jammu and Kashmir, the Personal Security Officer (PSO) of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader died due to an accidental firearm discharge.
The incident occurred on Monday in the district of Poonch when the PSO, identified as Asif Ahmad was handling his service weapon.
The firearm accidentally went off, resulting in a fatal injury.
The PSO was immediately rushed to the nearest medical facility, but he succumbed to his injuries.
