Srinagar, Aug 12 (KS): In a significant operation, Kathua police have arrested five terrorist associates linked to the killing of four soldiers and other terror-related activities in the Kathua-Bani-Kishtwar belt.

This breakthrough comes as a result of coordinated efforts by security forces to dismantle terror networks in the region.

The arrests were made during a series of raids conducted by the Kathua police, based on specific intelligence inputs.

The arrested individuals are believed to have been providing logistical support, including shelter and transportation, to active terrorist groups operating in the area.

According to police sources, the arrested associates played a crucial role in the planning and execution of attacks that led to the killing of four soldiers.


The Superintendent of Police (SP) Kathua praised the efforts of the police team involved in the operation and reiterated the commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
