Srinagar, Aug 13 (KS):- In a high-level security meeting chaired by Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Shri R.R. Swain, comprehensive security measures for the upcoming 78th Independence Day celebrations across the Union Territory were thoroughly reviewed.

The meeting, held today, focused on key areas such as threat assessment, counter measures, surveillance, supervision, intelligence gathering, personnel deployment, and access control.

The meeting saw participation from top officers of the Civil Administration, Police, Army, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and intelligence agencies.

These officials provided detailed briefings to the DGP on preparations across various fronts, ensuring a coordinated and robust security framework for the event.
