Kupwara, 19 Aug(KS): An elderly man was critically injured in a bear attack in the Haril Mawer area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara on Monday.
An official told the news agency Kashmir scroll, that a 68-year-old man was critically injured after being attacked by a black bear in Haril Mawer area of Kupwara.
He added that the man, later identified as Gh. Nabi War (68), son of Ali Mohammad War aresident of Haril Mawer, Kupwara, was initially treated at a local hospital before being transferred to District Hospital Handwara for further treatment.
