Successful Completion of Medifest Health Screening Camp for Special Athletes Organized by VMS in Collaboration with Special Olympics Bharat
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Medifest Health Screening Camp for Special Athletes, organized by VMS in collaboration with Special Olympics Bharat (SOB). The camp, which took place recently, saw an impressive footfall of more than 450 athletes, marking a significant step towards promoting health and well-being among athletes with special needs.
The event was graced by several esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Lalit K Sharma, CEO of Special Olympics Bharat, Mr. Iqbal Lone, Disability Commissioner, and the president and management of VMS. Their presence and support underscored the importance of such initiatives in fostering inclusive healthcare and support for special athletes.
During the camp, participants received comprehensive health screenings conducted by a team of experienced medical professionals. The screenings covered various aspects of health, ensuring that each athlete received personalized attention and care. This initiative not only aimed at immediate health assessments but also at raising awareness about the ongoing healthcare needs of athletes with disabilities.
