Operation to track down hiding militants continues in Kokernag
Srinagar, Aug 11 (KS):- An exchange of gunfire between militants and joint security forces took place at the Paddar Batam Bridge in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The area has been cordoned off by security personnel, and a search operation is ongoing to locate the militants involved in the confrontation.
The situation remains tense, and additional forces have been deployed to the area to assist in the operation.
Operation continues on Ahlan Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district where two soldiers were killed while at least five including two civilians were injured.
